View and Explore Transaction Testing Results

After running the tests, results are displayed in the Summary screen using four standard visualizations:

  1. Journal Value by Month (Bar Chart)

  2. Journal Value by Group (Horizontal Bar Chart)

  3. Journal Value by Poster (Bar Chart)

  4. High-Risk Journal Entries vs Risk Score (Scatter Plot)

Tip: If your GL or Chart of Accounts includes many Posters or Groups, use zoom and scroll to focus on specific data segments.

Apply Filters

Use the Filter Pane on the left to refine your view. Filters update the charts in real time.

Filter Types:

  • Risk-Level Filters

    View journal entries by risk category (High, Moderate, Low). See:

    • Entry count

    • Percentage

    • Total debit value

  • Test-Level Filters

    View results by individual test. See:

    • Count of entries meeting test criteria

    • Total risk score

    Tip: Hover over chart elements to see detailed metrics like entry count and debit totals.

View Journal Entries for Sampling

Click View Journal Entries for Sampling to see the entries that match your applied filters.

You’ll see two tables:

  1. Journal Entries Table

    Lists journals that meet the filter criteria. Includes:

    • Includes columns like Journal ID, Total Debit Value, Risk Score, Description, Entered By.

    • Use the checkbox next to each entry to add it to your sample or uncheck it to remove it.

  2. Journal Lines Table

    Displays the individual lines for the journal selected in the first table.

Explore Your General Ledger and Analytics Results

The EXPLORE tab provides a dynamic Pivot Table view powered by your uploaded General Ledger (GL) data and the results of journal entry tests. This feature allows you to interactively analyse data across test-level results, risk categories, and more.

Pivot Table Features

  • View row-grouped data across selected columns with pagination for easier navigation.

  • Apply filters to narrow down the data and focus on specific entries or risk levels.

  • Right-click on the pivot view to create a pivot chart based on your current layout.

    Note: The pivot table currently does not support:

    • Column Labels (Column Grouping)

    • Scatter plots in pivot charts
