Setting Roll Forward Options for a Form

In a Knowledge Coach engagement, you can set roll forward options for a form in the form properties. This step is optional, since you can also select roll forward options for a form when you roll forward the engagement. However, selecting a roll forward option when you add the form can speed up the roll forward process.

To set roll forward options for a form:

  1. Click the engagement on the Engagement List page.

    Note: See Using the Engagement List Page for information about using the pagination and search features to find an engagement in the list.

  2. Locate the form on the Engagement View page.

    Tip: You might need to expand the node or folder that holds the item you need. Nodes and folders are not available in Engagement View for consolidated engagements at this time.

  3. Click in the Actions column for the form, and then select Properties.

  4. Select options for each of the following:

    • Roll forward options. Select whether to include the same version of the content in the new engagement or to replace the content with the latest version (if a newer version is available at the time of roll over).

    • Data retention options. Select whether your responses in each form should be rolled forward or if the responses should be reset.

  5. Click Save to save your changes.
