Exporting the Trial Balance in CCH® ProSystem fx® Trial Balance

The export option in CCH® ProSystem fx® Trial Balance was enhanced in the August 2022 release to include additional data.

The enhanced export will include the following trial balance data:

  1. Accounts

  2. Current year balances

  3. Prior year balances, for one year

  4. Leads

  5. Subleads

  6. Tax lines

  7. Classes

  8. Account types

During the import process in CCH Axcess Financial Prep, the trial balance data will map the CCH® ProSystem fx® Trial Balance data as follows:

To export the trial balance data from CCH® ProSystem fx® Trial Balance, do the following:

  1. In CCH ProSystem fx Trial Balance, select Batch Export Companies… from the File menu.

  2. Define the query criteria for the companies you want to export.

  3. Select Export… button.

  4. Check the box to Create an Excel file for each company’s account balances.

  5. Optionally, select the Prior year balance type.

  6. Click Yes to create the Excel files. Export files will be saved in this location: C:\AVISION\ExportFiles.
